MEET OUR PASTORS
National Director of Pastoral Care:
Pastor David Springer
Pastor David Springer, affectionately known as ‘Pastor Dee,’ embarked on a transformative spiritual journey when he was born again on Sunday 29 October 1989. From the moment of his conversion being baptised and filled with the Holy Spirit, Pastor Dee exuded a deep sense of gratitude, fostering a fervent desire for others to discover the same purpose and peace in knowing Jesus for themselves.
As a Senior Pastor since 2000, Pastor Dee’s warm and inviting leadership style, sprinkled with humor, has created an inclusive and uplifting environment for his congregants. This approach extends into his mentoring role, where he actively shapes the next generation of ministers, combining spiritual insights with practical experience.
Blessed to have the esteemed Bishop Wayne Malcolm, also known as “The Business Bishop,” as his leader, Pastor Dee draws inspiration for his leadership journey. His strong work ethic, inherited from his parents, permeates every design project he undertakes, reflecting a commitment to excellence in both pastoral and graphic design spheres.
Pastor Dee’s pastoral service seamlessly blends with his design life, evident in his dedicated support for first-time authors. His ability to translate their visions into physical books showcases not only his design expertise but also his passion for helping others realize their creative aspirations. This multifaceted approach underscores Pastor Dee’s commitment to guiding individuals spiritually and creatively, leaving an indelible mark on those he serves.
Regional Pastor Clinton Rhule
My passion has always been souls' souls and more souls. From my earlier days of street evangelism and running a Christian group in Erith college and later South Bank University, in fact from my school days I was letting my light shine never hiding my gifting under a bushel. I have always had the desire and thirst to see people from all races and background come to the knowledge of Christ.
I have now been a member of ICAN for nearly 25 years and have known Bishop Dr. Wayne Malcolm way before this time probably some 40 years in total. Since joining the ICAN family previously known as CLC my life personally has been transformed in many areas and capacity, the rich word and teaching has taken me personably to new levels, thank you Jesus. I am married to the amazing Minister Elaine Rhule and have 5 sisters and two brothers and a mother now superseding 92 years old, yes 7 siblings, my father is awaiting the trumpet of God to sound. From the moment I joined ICAN as a Minster from another church I have been an active member dedicating myself to helping build the Kingdom of God, to work with the vision of the house to play my part well with the best of my God given ability.
I have served in many ministry capacities within ICAN from heading a team of powerful altar evangelist consisting of administrators, prayer warriors, I have with the team counselled hundreds of souls and led many into the Kingdom of God. I have baptized hundreds of people from all ages and have seen many grow in Christ. Until this day I will continue to support new converts along their journey to witness the seed within them grow and reproduce. I have had the honor of teaching varies bible study material written by our Bishop which includes Fist Steps, Baptism Class, Milk of the Word (MOTW) and many others.
Now on another note, literally speaking, for those that really know me known that I love to sing at any opportunity, formally I spent over 10 years in a church choir one time only singing lead “Trouble heartache and pains will be over”. I love music and I play a few musical instruments Piano, Guitar and attempting the trumpet in the early stages. Yes, all taught by my late father. I also enjoy writing gospel songs when inspired.
I have been baptized in Jesus's name for over 44 years and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in heavenly language and continue to daily be refreshed by the presence of God.
On the 2 July 2023 was another pinnacle year for me, Bishop Dr. Wayne Malcolm consecrated me a Regional Pastor over West, South and now Ashford. I thank God for the opportunity to offer Pastoral support to these hubs and more as they come live in the coming months and years.
Finally, I am excited about what God is about to do in this new season in my life and the life of the Church, as the song writer penned, “Lord I am available to you”.
Love you ICAN community church worldwide.
God bless you all.
