Our Founder
Dr Bishop Wayne Malcolm
Dr Bishop Wayne Malcolm, affectionately known as “The Business Bishop,” is a dynamic leader, visionary, and transformative voice with over 40 years of ministry experience. As the founder of the ICAN Community Church, he has pioneered a global movement that has grown from a single church in one location to “one church in many locations.” His mission is rooted in a bold kingdom vision to impact lives, transform communities, and empower individuals to fulfil their God-given potential.
Renowned for his expertise not only in church leadership but also in the spheres of business, economics, education, and entrepreneurship, Bishop Malcolm is a sought-after international speaker and life coach. Open Positions
The Ecclesia Team
The Ecclesia Gatherings Team is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing community gatherings within ICAN Church. This team coordinates event logistics, including venue selection, setup, and teardown, while also managing communication and promotion efforts to attract attendees. Members of the team provide hospitality, support speakers or performers, and collect feedback to continually improve the quality of gatherings. By fostering a welcoming environment and facilitating meaningful connections, the team plays a crucial role in nurturing a vibrant spiritual community within ICAN Church.
Caretaker
As the ICAN Church caretaker, you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our church premises. Your duties include cleaning and tidying the interior and exterior areas, ensuring restrooms are stocked and sanitized, and performing minor repairs as needed. Additionally, you will assist with setting up for services, events, and meetings, and may provide basic technical support when required. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and safe environment for our congregation and visitors to worship and gather.
National Director of the Life Line Ministry
As the head of our Life Line Ministry, you serve as a compassionate leader dedicated to supporting individuals in times of need. Your role involves overseeing the implementation of various programs and initiatives aimed at providing spiritual guidance, emotional support, and practical assistance to members facing challenges or crises. You lead a team of dedicated volunteers, coordinating their efforts to offer counseling, prayer, and practical assistance to those in distress. Through your empathy, leadership, and commitment to service, you help strengthen the bonds of our community and provide a beacon of hope for those navigating life's difficulties.
Team Support
Team support for the leadership teams entails providing comprehensive assistance and resources to ensure their success in guiding the organisation towards its goals. This involves facilitating open communication channels, offering constructive feedback, and providing the necessary tools and resources for effective decision-making and problem-solving. Additionally, team support involves promoting a culture of trust, collaboration, and mutual respect among leadership members, enabling them to work together seamlessly and leverage each other's strengths. By fostering a supportive environment, team support empowers the leadership team to navigate challenges, inspire their teams, and drive organizational growth and success.
